Wonderful experience! Great customer service and accommodations. Amy contacted us the day of our stay to make sure we knew how to get there and where to park. When we arrived, there wasn't any parking. We contacted Amy, and she not only made arrangements for us to park our car in the pay lot nearby, but she told us that the Iris Garden would pay for our parking. She actually came outside and met us, and helped us with our luggage! We truly appreciated her kindness and wonderful customer service. The cottage was adorable. We stayed in the Sweet Suite. They even put a little note with our last name on the door so that we knew which cottage was ours. The cottage was clean and cozy. It was so quiet and peaceful. A coffee pot and coffee were available in the kitchen which was nice to have in the morning. The bathroom had ample counter space, and the shower had great water pressure. We had a lovely overnight stay at the Iris Garden and would not hesitate to stay there again. We definitely recommend staying there.
We recently stayed at Girlfriends Getaway to accommodate our extended family that was in town for a wedding. This place was PERFECT! The location made it convenient for sightseeing/shopping, and the room and amenities made it so comfortable... more family stayed in some of the other units, making it extra special. Josie is beyond sweet and I can't think of anything they didn't supply...the only thing we found we needed was a bit of white noise due to the limited doors on the bedrooms...but by no means a deal-breaker. Beds were super comfy, we had so much room to spread out, and I would bring my family here again in the future! Thank you so much for helping make our weekend wonderful!
My husband and I love Nashville so much it’s our little honey hole!! We try to stay at different places and eat at different places to get the full experience! So many wonderful shops with homemade trinkets, crystals, and more. It was a wonderful stay, comfy, nice water pressure and it stays hot, right in the middle of town with great parking. The owners seemed lovely! Truly a beautiful experience it’s just like home. I also love that they have little journals in some of the hotels, cabins, cottages it’s a little keepsake of all the ones who have stayed.
We stay here the first weekend of December for the past three years. Our experience has always been top notch! Josie is great to work with and your stay is just as important to her as it is to you! Booked again for next year!
Our couples cottage was rustic and cute.. The bathroom didn't have a light over the mirror not good for us ladies putting makeup on and no other mirror in the room. Front porch was really nice. location was awesome. Parking wasn't the best for this business.
My wife and I loved our stay at Iris Garden. It's perfectly located downtown, so you can walk to everything. We were in town for a concert at the Brown County Music Center, but we discovered there's so much more in this town. We can't wait to come back. Josie was awesome and communicated with us very well. We stayed in the Couples Cottage and it was perfect for the two of us.
First stay in Nashville, Indiana, in 40 years. Celebrating our 44th anniversary. Iris Gardens was a cozy little room right on the main strip of downtown. An easy walk to shops and restaurants. Just what I look for in a short get away. Room was clean and comfortable and owners were a quick text away. Everything was perfect except mattress which was hard. We just went in second week of January, and as with any tourist town, many restaurants and stores were closed during the week. We texted Josie, and she was able to tell us what restaurants were good and still open. Sweet town and sweet cottages to stay in. I can’t wait to go back.
I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Iris Gardens immensely. It was clean, peaceful and right where I wanted to be…in the heart of Nashville. It was very accessible to all the restaurants and shops in town. The only disappointment I had was finding out The HobKnob restaurant has now closed. That was was sad realization. I will be back!
